I use to work for a food truck (I know). The owner was a real creep. He only hired women and only dudes who would go along with him. One girl was groped while at work by one of the only male employee and when he was told about it he acted upset but did nothing and kept scheduling the two people involved together. Making jokes about the incident. He’d get drunk and high at work and invite all the young girls to do it with him. He’d make sketchy comments. Extremely rude comments. Degrade women. Serve shitty food (nasty shit like there’s a fly in the dough, something fell on the floor, old product that’s been sitting out, somehow passed inspections although nothing was kept cold as it should) we would work 14 hrs in the summer without ac and in a truck with 2 ovens and other “warm” appliances. This married mad was sleeping with a girl I worked with younger than his daughter obviously using his age and power and money and alcohol and drugs to do it. He would push us to take adderall to get through long days. He paid people based on the likelihood of them fucking him.
He would take us out after work to get us drunk and high and then DRIVE people home. He’s effing LATE 50s.
One time he tried to hire a 15 year old girl. Thankfully she left in the middle of her first day.
Countless times I was in situations that made me scared and uncomfortable.
He’s back on the scene with his “girlfriend” (22f) and looking for new workers because everyone else saw him for what he was. He has postings on indeed and Facebook. I want his creepy ass to leave young girls alone and stop serving his nasty food. I thought about spamming the email address but I feel like that’s a waste of time. He’s (“borderline”) predatory and I feel like I should do something. He works for himself, pays everyone under the table, and when he doesn’t like an employee he just ghosts them. I think the product and name of the truck are some kind of franchise but he acts as if he can do whatever he wants.
