Wont Let Me Burn My Earned Paid Time
A little back story, I've been with this company for almost 3 years. Not once have I gotten a raise. I've gotten high marks on all my performance reviews, but since “it's not in the budget” I haven't gotten a raise. I rarely took any days off the last 3 years, rarely called in, and have accumulated a total of over 150hrs of comp time, sick time, and admin time for me to use freely. They're only paying me out my vacation. The rest of the 150hrs I have, I either use it or lose it. For the last 6 months, I've been applying/sending out resumes to get a higher paying postition. Used to work in “the industry” back during The Entourage days and what you saw on the show was 100% true when it came to the way Ari would treat his assistant. Except the problem was everyone then began to think they were Ari. Even if they were a complete nobody – like my bosses. First boss was in film finance – worked for him as an assistant. I plan to stay on to support the two major IRS funding drops & complete the Unfunded Tax Prep features. I’m leaving MetaBank to lead a team of talented software engineers as a Software Engineering Manager. The initial work will involve migrating legacy monolith systems over into scalable Azure cloud environments utilizing endpoints. My baseline salary will be $180,000 with 10% annual bonus based on performance, 401k 6% match, tuition reimbursement for continued higher education, a 37.5-hour work week, and numerous other benefits. The responsibilities I hold will be 1/6th in total of my current responsibilities here at MetaBank.
