3 months ago I took on a new job with the same company I’ve been with for nearly 4 years now. It is a position that pays roughly 52k a year, an increase of my previous job which was around 41k. So it was a big jump for a job that turned out to be a terrible fit for me. It doesn’t really suit my strengths and interests. I travel a lot for it, which is alright, but I’m paying rent to not be home. I left my old job because the supervisor at the time gave me daily anxiety. She has since left and the new supervisor is much more cooperative and less on a power trip. I walked off my job today
I have worked for a national pharmaceutical company in the U.S. since 2015. During that time I have been been promoted or moved to the positions of shift lead (management) and Inventory Specialist (not management but Mon- Friday day shift!!!) as need required, I would alternate between positions. I was the #1 rated shift lead in my district last year. I have been training people who (off the street) make $3/hr more than I do. Everyone (including District and Regional Managers) told me to quit, wait 30 days and reapply at the higher rate, they couldn't just give me a pay raise. I was stupid enough to fall for this ruse and to even stay an extra week while they brought in a new program.
