I’m sick and tired of presenting facts to people only for them just to deny it in favour of their own agenda. I’m fucking done! I have tried and tried to stop the lies that capitalism is feeding these people but they just won’t listen! I’m done, don’t bother, convincing others that they are wage slaves to some rich ass billionaires is not worth it! There is a saying in this world, when somebody believes in something so much they will deny all evidence that proves their point wrong, sort of like religion!

Serious question, would this helpful or hurtful

I gave my two weeks notice and he said I don't have to bother showing up for the rest of my scheduled days including tonight. He said it in a super round a bout way but it roughly translated to:”How dare you go somewhere else with higher pay for the same exact position I thought we were friends.x Today is friday btw. My note even mentioned to give you enough time to find a replacement for me. He would rather throw my coworkers into chaos instead of negotiating higher pay and a full time pos.

My aunt works at Unilever and constantly complains about how her desk is always flooded. She gets the work of those who do not do the work and slack off. She has the job of 2-3 people with how many desks she manages. She just told me tonight she applied to another job for more money. Unilever declared her as a “unreleaseable” worker and refuses to let her go. I’m absolutely furious for her. She makes barely 45k a year and constantly is forced to work overtime. She is literally stuck as a job because she is viewed as “valuable” but gets treated like shit. There’s no way they can’t refuse to let workers go.

I gave my boss a 2 week notice for my resignation today and she scolded me for “not providing the standard 1 month notice that is standard for managers”. what the fuck is a 1 month notice
