All of my coworkers are boomers, and the head of laboratory (the manager of this branch in my city) told me they'd leave an hour early to go see a movie. “Don't worry, not many samples come by in that time”. I sad: “Umm, ok…” They ditched me, and a few samples that don't usually arrive, actually did arrive and I had to work on machines I never worked with before. I obviously failed to set everything up right and had to message the manager that I am not sure why the results are not coming out right. I got “fined” by them taking away my sunday I was supposed to work (it pays well and I need the money), and told off about how I need to work on myself…….. I NEVER HANDLED THAT EQUIPMENT NOR WAS I PRESENT IN THE LABORATORY FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS……

You have extensive IT knowledge and someone just gets a fucking MBA and gets to be your boss and then during team meetings he explains us basic IT shit, that we ALREADY fucking know and the boss is generally clueless about IT shit?

I was so pissed to get offered $25k usd in Western Europe while I have two master's degrees, 15+ years of international xp and speaks 3 languages. So I modified a bot to apply ALL jobs in my field on LinkedIn that have “easyjob” application. I don't fucking care anymore.

Unless you inherit wealth, it's pretty much over tbh.

im a student working for typical part time jobs, the job scope are just normal and typical but for some reason i dont feel exactly comfortable?? im stressing over it sometimes but not sure what is it about. I’ve only worked for some days and have not fulfill the commitment period and im not sure if i should quit or continue on
