Dealing with a High school ringleader
I work for an organization and generally don’t mind the type of work I do. I have a hybrid work schedule that allows me to be home 3 times a week so I’m pretty free to do as I please at home. A coworker recently quit and so her work was split between myself and another coworker. Having taken over her work, I’ve now had to deal with a supervisor who acts like she is in high school and runs the show. She is in charge of a different department but was somehow tasked with helping my department even before my coworker quit. I’ve had several people tell me she’s a bi***, but I didn’t pay much attention because I avoided interacting with her to keep my peace. Now that I HAVE to work with her, I’ll send friendly emails asking for help and she responds with snarky emails rather…

Ok here's the issue at hand. I got a job offer from Walmart A and went through the background check. All was good but could not make orientation bc I was stuck at my mechanic. I called and texted HR but never heard anything back for 1.5 weeks at which point my schedule changed and I needed (not wanted) to work nights so I told her that I could not take the position. Now a month later I'm going for Walmart B. They have the hours and money I'm looking for. I am walking into the back where hr is for orientation and I get a call from HR about something being wrong. Apparently they have me down working at store A for 2 weeks and I gained three points. Keep in mind store A put down I worked for them during a time that I never got an offer…
Basically my husband had to leave early the other day to help me. 15 minutes. Normally that kind of thing is allowed, as long as it's few and far between. However, it's an “unwritten rule”. His manager (who has had it out for him ever since they applied to the same position) has decided to write him up for it (despite ignoring her favorites leaving an hour early half of the week, frequently). We know he's getting written up because she left the write ups out for him and several others on a desk, in the main room they all work in, for 2 whole shifts and people are now talking about everyone getting written up. Is there anything he can report her for? Isn't that not allowed for privacy reasons? Ps: yes its a shit place to work. He's working on leaving but in the meantime, I don't think…
Think about it, minimum wage goes up, what happens? Corporations and businesses just raise their prices so they don’t lose any profit for the people making the big bucks, while making it so you’re spending the same percentage of your earnings on their greed.
