I put my two weeks in and they fired me on the spot. I worked(well used to work) at a big retail corporation. I found a better job and when I did the nice thing of putting my two weeks in they said to turn in all my work things and leave. Just go to show, don’t even bother to put in two weeks, they will just treat you life trash one last time.
Well that’s good to know…
I've lived in this city most of my adult life (socal). I'm losing my current housing and I started to look for apartments. I haven't been able to get consistent full time work that pays more than $15/hr for two years now. To afford living alone I'd need to work a minimum of 50 hours a week. If one of my gigs falls short I'll have to make it up the next week. NO. I refuse to give most of my financial cushion I've saved over to some landlord in the form of a deposit. I'll never see that money again. I could upgrade my hiking kit and my car with that amount. I did the math. I save more money working 1 job part time remotely being a nomad than working 3 gigs to pay for a 200-400 square foot studio that I'll barely be able to spend any…

GlassDoor monitors and manually approves all workplace reviews, but Google Maps is a little loose, and if customers see how bad the work environment is, they may think twice about shopping there. Have fun!
I just tanked my employer today.

I found out they were commissioning me to write scripts, but also commissioning someone else to write scripts. Whichever one they liked more they would actually pay for the work. I also got chewed out today for simply asking a question… I simply stood up, said “I don't need this. I don't need you” and walked out. They also were storing all their financial information/production documents/scripts/etc on my Google Drive. I removed all permissions. I was also logged into all their email accounts. I changed passwords, and signed out. They have a two week shoot coming up, lets see how it…
Title says it all.
