I agree with this movement 100% as well as with the most radical minimum wage activists except for one thing — all figures are based on living alone in a studio, 1BR or even 2BR, like this: Article Title: “Full-time minimum wage workers can’t afford rent anywhere in the US, according to a new report,” First line of article: “People working minimum wage jobs full-time cannot afford a two-bedroom apartment in any state in the country, the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s annual “Out of Reach” report finds.” I was inspired to post because of the current top post on the subreddit. This has more to do with the minimum-wage-reform side of this movement and less of the abolish-work side, and I am aware of that just to be clear. I personally agree that with the advances in technology and automation we would be able to abolish compulsory work and…
Feel this vibe might fit the sub. I pay loans from grad school and undergrad. I can't afford it. I have health bills and often defer. I don't want my wages garnished from my job. I'll have to do a repayment plan. But my question is what do you say to these people to pay less? There has to be tips and tricks. Any advice is so wonderfully helpful.
Seriously, UCLA.

Job with ADHD
Sup. I'm from no English speaking country so sorry for my eng. Mb a lil bit offtop but I want to say someone about ADHD and about my job. Mb it will make me feel better. I'm programmer and I have a lot problem with my ADHD cuz this I have to change work every 3 months. I become feel myself very uncomfortable after 3 months… Now I'm near to lose my job again. I understand that I have to change my profession on something more creative for not feel bored and can concentrate on it. For normal live here I need only 300$ per month. How you think can I get it from youtube, twitch or other platforms where I can be creative and make funny content for people (this is my dream) and improve my eng?
I genuinely like to work, but living in a metro like Las Vegas it’s almost impossible to find Full time work, and if you do, it’s gonna be around $10-12.50 hourly. I’ve worked in food the past few years since it’s one of our higher paying areas where I can do alright, but I’ve tried getting into the trades on multiple occasions to no avail. I’m typically referred to Unions, who offer free apprenticeships w/ classes nightly while you work in the field as well, they sound great until you realize they only pick up new apprentices every other year and maybe pick 30-100 people out of a few thousand applications, not to mention it’s very hard to keep up w/ multiple unions publications on when they offer these programs. Next I had looked into school to be an Aviation Mechanic as there’s a reputable place here and have read…
Is my boss trolling me?
I do not like my supervisor at all. In short, he treats me different than all the other people that I work with and I resent him for this. I think the guys kiss his butt a lot and he enjoys having his ego stroked. So, while I am stuck at this job I do everything to avoid him. I have access to his calendar and so I have strategically been timing things when he is engaged and that way I won't have to interact with him. Well, I have noticed that now he times his moves where we are always running into each other. For example, My office is next to his and I can tell when he is on the telephone. So when I hear him busy, I get up and walk past his office to communicate something with my coworker. Well, this was working but now as…
