Q – if i plan on leaving early April, and i have already used up most of my full year’s worth of PTO (3wks), what happens? Do i have to pay them back pro-rated wage for the extra PTO that i took? FYIY, fortune 100 company, exempt employee. I took 2+ wks time off for kids winter and spring break and PTO. I only get 3 wks for the whole yr.
Okay so my employer is refusing to give me a copy of my personal record. I think what I need to do is file for a deposition subpoena, then have a sheriff serve it, mail it, or serve it directly. In case I need to mention specifics I believe I need to request: -The application -References, notes, evaluations -drug tests and results (i never took any though) -warnings and disciplinary actions -character summaries -guest and employee feedback/reports -signed documentation from orientation, the hiring process, and throughout employment -the receipt for 125$ that they removed from my first paycheck to pay for the position required state-issued license; for tax purposes. Does this seem like everything necessary for filing a case against my employer? Is there a phrase i could add to act as a “catch all” for missed documents? Any thoughts about this: During my interview, the interviewer did not actually…

Why are most business owners assholes?
It's really hard not to throw them all under the bus when it seems like literally 99% of them are bad. I was abused at every single one of my workplaces, and I constantly see other employees getting abused at theirs. Why are these people so morally reprehensible?
I like work just not the disrespect.
I’m 22 and just opened my on mechanic shop because two mechanic jobs ago I left because a coe worker bought the business and he was generally a mean ass hole and I didn’t want to work FOR him. (Was a good call he’s still an ass when I text him for advice) then I took another mechanic job absolutely loved my coe workes and the pay even had a gas company gas card for my personal vehicle but then they moved me to a smaller shop at there main office I told the Hr lady I last my phone and I laugh when I’m nervous so I was laughing my ass off she took it as a sign of disrespect tried to get me to sign a insubordination paper because I laughed at her so I told her my tool box has wheels and I quit then I was…
Thought you all would enjoy this
Honestly, wtf is up with that? I work at a facility that does substance testing and their policy is that the only way you can leave early is if you have fever of 102 or higher. I've got a fever of 100 and they said that the clients come first (hell they'll be sent in even with a damn stomach bug) and I have to stay. I've been sneezing, coughing, having shortness of breath and all that fun stuff and they deem that okay to stay. Yet anytime the supervisors get a small cold w/o a fever, they can call off or leave early to go home. I've been wearing a mask all day to “protect the rest of the staff. If I didn't need the paycheck that bad I would've told them my health is more important than those who can test any other day of the week.
