Do you like to be told what to do at work? or do you prefer coming up with creative solutions from consensus and brainstorming ideas. How do you typically deal with rigid upper management?
My old boss was fired and the position is open, which I’m sure I’m competitive for. I know what that position does and I can probably do it better and make my life easier than now. Unfortunately for me, I left the company recently during a leave of absence. Now, I can’t really apply either because they’ll see that I was working somewhere else during my leave .
Pissed off managers by not returning to work and never replied to messages.now I heard they are turning their anger to other in workplace..what a crazy low life peoples to just exist in the face of earth..can't handle rejection and always carry this fragile ego in their stupid brains all the time..such a toxic place ..I am waiting for getting hr call to tell that I resignated..
I work at a retail store and recently one of my coworkers in my department quit and the other most likely put in their two weeks recently due to the store manager constantly talking down on us, threatening to deny bonuses, and cut our hours. I put in time off requests back in mid-February for April and had to pull teeth to get them to be approved, but they were finally approved. Fast forward to the schedule for said weeks being made and I wound up being scheduled for those days I requested off well over a month ago. I talked to my department manager and she said she fixed it, but when I checked there were no results. I’m headed out of town those weekends and I physically cannot be there because I will be out of state. I’m planning on quitting without notice once I move out of…
I had a solid position at a company that pays very well and I was able to pay all my bills on time. The company decided to remove all full time positions and left about 50 people to work part time positions. We lost all of our benefits, full time pay, and our hours. Ive only worked one hour in the past week and im afraid I won't be able to afford to go to my brothers wedding now. Student loans are about to kick in and im unable to afford rent, let alone an extra 400 a month. Ive applied to 22 different jobs and haven't got a call back for a single one. Im scared.
Sued for defamation?
If confused, please read my newest post on my profile. I wrote my review on google, and they said they will be suing me for defamation. Is there any way I can win this or deal with it? If anything happens, I will be getting a lawyer.
Title says it all, there's two of us currently employed and we've been rushed off our feet for months and have pleaded for another pair of hands to help take some of the load off, this has been met with being told they can't justify another body right now as the workload isn't there. Since then he's gone ahead and bought into a new business and has also been asking me to work overtime because they're too busy to fit all the jobs into a normal working week. Me being the fool and people pleaser that I am have agreed to do the overtime because honestly I need the money to make ends meet, I know I need to refuse this overtime so he can perhaps start to understand we need an extra person. This is a bit of a vent more than anything else, I hate the toxicity of…
“Almost laughed at me” Wonder why?
I have had 2 interested companies (called my references) and my job is bad. Got in today and there are 3 less people than yesterday and I've been shown the till and safe because the supervisor quit. No pay raise. I don't know why I said yes, I just did because it feels good to have your ego stroked. Don't be like me and step up for a failing business, just leave
