anti work mfs when my boss has been disowned by her own family cuz she has to cover shifts without fail and has missed her grand daughters birthday 3 years in a row
As of lately my employer has adopted what seems to be an “all work, no play” kind of workplace. No cell phones, don’t use computer for anything other than work, ask for something to do when bored. We are relatively very slow, with many days comparing to “watching paint dry”. When I make less than $13/hr after being here 2 years with a total of 5 years in the industry? I think not. I’m not trying to be a whiny bitch about not being able to use my phone at work, but it’s the point to me that they want us actively working for every second of the 8 hours we are here. I work on a front line in a customer facing industry. We are monitored by cameras, while those away from the front line and in offices without cameras, they can and do scroll on their phones during…
to and from work
Is it just me or should businesses be held accountable for your drive to and from work? If something happens on your way in should your job be held responsible for that? given the reason your out driving in the first place is for your job. Same with returning home? Edit 2: This is also not about being lazy, it's more about having a life outside of work. When you are at work you work hard but then you switch off and move on to your private life.
I, at the moment, only work one job with maybe 20 hours a week. I'm looking for a second job but I don't want some lame job that pays me shit. I love that I'm so poor I can't pay a hospital bills so now 25% of each pay check gets to go to that bill by the government because I wasn't paying enough each month if I had the money to spare. I was on food stamps but they decided that the only way I get food is through food stamps and the rest of my money has to go to bills and rent. I went from getting enough money to eat for the month to now I get $37 a month. I hate this government. I hate that I can't find another job in a busy town that says they're hiring everywhere. I'm at a point of faking…
