Ok, hear me out. Most companies do market research on a product to figure out how to fix the issues addressed in the bad reviews. This ultimately improves the product, manufacturing, and results in a happy customer. So, when they see millions of disgruntled workers, why doesn't some company take advantage and treat workers right with good pay? Ultimately good workers mean good product and happy customers. High turnover and employees who don't give two shits about your terrible company are not a good path for the future….right?
It’s amazing how big name companies won’t help out their workers when something devastating happens in front of them. Figured I’d share this and see if this is “normal.” Last year, one morning, two of my coworkers were near a man who suddenly collapsed, presumably a heart attack. Ambulance and fire department were called, and after arriving a few minutes after the call, and a while of trying CPR on the guy, he showed no signs of waking up. The vehicles left without their sirens on. I wasn’t there until I started my closing shift, so this is what I’ve gathered.
