Manager: Hey, so there's been a problem with the pay software, so we can't pay you this fortnight, but don't worry! You'll be paid in full next pay period. Me: Oh. That's too bad. I guess you'd better take me off the roster for the next two weeks, then. Manager: What? But I need you to drive! You can't take 2 weeks off on a day's notice! Me: There's literally enough fuel in my car to get home tonight and back into work in the morning. What do you suggest I do? Manager: Well why don't you budget better? Me: …um… I budget fine, but you know how budgets work, right? You balance money coming in with money going out. If there's no money coming in, there can't be money going out. Manager: Well what about your savings? Me: My savings? After COVID? After the floods that meant we didn't…
Oh how the turns table
A máfia Rússia
Basically the title. They have me on for 7 days in a row, one day is 7 hours but the rest are 8. Also, majority night shifts. I'm in NY is this legal?
How much does your dream job pay?
Hey everyone, Just like most people most of my life consisted of waking up before the sun rose and going to work and watching the sunrise from my office window. Then it all clicked that I'm miserable. Everyone around me being my co workers, friends, hell even my bosses would come to for their party favors so I gladly took the role. I quit my luxurious tech job to go back to the dark arts of slanging. Just for a heads up I've made quite a sum off bitcoin and ripple. So money isn't really a worthy. Does this count as anti work? Anyways bye everyone

I don't know which is more disturbing: Being jobless or antiwork with a minimum wage job history OR “Downgrading” from office, trade, specialized/expert/professional to a minimum wage job “for a change”. If that makes sense, talk about it.
