I would be interested in the amount of paid vacation and paid sick days u get. I start. Austrian here: 25 vacation 13 national Holidays. Sick days unlimited. After 8 weeks my employer gets oaud back by the health service.

Most people just call out sick and 99.9% of the times you know in the back of your mind that your boss doesn't believe you but he has to accept the excuse anyway. Some companies take it as far as making you prove it with a doctor's note. So if you don't want to go through all that hassle, then simply plan your fake sick day off. Most people don't do it that way. They just don't feel like coming in so they call that day. Simple. Show up on time the day prior, and Pretend you're sick. Complain about something. Ask your boss “you have an recommendations for acid reflux? I feel terrible and it's creeping up all day. I don't know what it is” When you clock out. Text your boss 1hr later. “Hey heads up…I took a turn for the worst, I'm vomiting…and not sure how this…

And when i went for the interview, they did some stuff then sat down with me then proceed to tell me that the website said for where we are at rn but they are sending people to a different town 2 hours away, i explained why i cant because im getting a job to get my own car and they proceed to get upset and left, why are they allowed to do that? I cant drive 2 hours and ik alot of people cant as wel

I work in a East Coast city and this morning a feisty soul decided to hardcore tailgate me on the way to work. I'm used to aggressive drivers. It's normal in the city, but this guy took it to a whole new level. He was driving a red and white mustang. To say they were aggressive is an understatement. He almost rear ended me trying to pass on a one lane road (to be clear – I was already going five over the speed limit). What shook me was that this boomer works in the same building as I do. He was ready to run me over and risk a collision over getting to work. I will NEVER race to work.

My mental and physical health has been failing. I like the job but I need to take a step back. I'm letting my boss know I will work till Friday if he wants me or today is my last day. My husband supports me and we can afford just his salary. I just have to trust that everything is gonna be okay.
