my own perspective.
Just a short rant. But i feel the need. So kicking off, I don't agree with everything in the antiwork sub. I'm a libertarian; I see people bashing one side or the other in politics when neither party is actually in control anymore. I agree that capitalism is flaud, and socialism is no better. Both systems will lead to a societal crash in one way or another; if suddenly every person had the same wage for every job, then there would be no reason for people to seek out harder work. Yes, a lot of employers are acting shitty. So, unless you have a situation, like me having a background that further complicates employment and wage discrimination, then people should advocate for themselves during their interview. You guys have lost the plot
If this sub is to ever gain traction and fully enact a change, you need to remove the far left “no working utopia” ideals, as funny as it may be, this sub is and always has been about enacting changes to move towards more positive work life balances and better working enviroments, with more rights to the employee/ higher wages to support the cost of living better. Those of you who think this is all about a “no work utopia” are literally living in another world, it isnt practical or possible, and will never happen, aim for the practical goals. Edit 1) Typo
I deserve a medal for going through the continuos torture of cashless training program and then the continuous dictation to work after that….I know I am hurting myself by going ther and sitting there and doing work because the pay is low..and no job satisfaction ..and even started to experiance health issues like throat problem and headache from heavy targets..I also had mental breakdowns in between this period about two time at workplace but I was able to go through it..I am not planning to continue working there but looking at ways to get out with a proper justification and by not getting emotionally abused by hr and supervisors.. I tried to contact hr for demanding unrealistic productivity but they invited me to their club for further dictation..I politely refused it and planning to resignate in a calm peacefull manner.
