It’s okay because I’m white and privileged, live in a suburban neighborhood with my own house facing a mountain, and I have health insurance unlike all of you losers Haha, now use your anger against my privilege to motivate yourself to find a solution to your problems But I know none of you will try, you hate working after all Go find a solution, because all this sub is; people complaining and not trying anything You weep and moan, now compromise and resolve Life’s unfair, make it fair
Lazy Crybaby Sub
This subreddit is full of crybabies complaining about working on their day off. Stop being lazy and organize something like a mass call out.

This may be a bit rantish but I have to vent. Background: I've been employed at my job for 14 years. I make $13 /hour and .75% of the gross profit my department makes. I can't get more specific about what I do without being too obvious. I decided today, I'd ask my boss for a cost of living raise. I asked for a $2 raise, so $15 /hour. In response to the inflation that's happening in the world. I knocked on his door and asked if he had a moment, he said yes. My last raise took place February 2020, bumping my percentage based pay from .5% to .75% I raised many good points about myself. Including how I've trained everyone in my department, I view myself as a leader, I haven't needed a sick day in over four years, I'm consistent in my work and I make the…
Hiiii, I want to write a book on the dumbest stuff customer that had to said or done to me, coworkers or any customer services reps. I want to discuss on how much customer services jobs really effects the workers mentally and physically traits. I feel people don't understand how emotionally draining customer service job is. People who isn't in customer services will say that the job is too easy or find another cs jobs or you don't need to get paid that well. Other things I want to include is the value of customer services in a company. The company will say that customer services is such an important job but we don't get treated as valued employee compared to the other workers. I.E why does every other employee get unlimited PTO and cs just get the bare minimum. So, the MAIN QUESTION is what do you want to…
So I work in a unit looking after young adults. We lone work. 2 staff are off sick. My manager knows this but has extended her annual leave. She knows that if I get up and leave she will give me a terrible reference. Which in this line of work is really important. The owners of the company really couldn't care. They are refusing to get agency staff or send staff from other units. I feel so fucking worthless right now. I give my all because I care about the kids. Like I said it's not as easy as just walking out. References are extremely important. Even if I explain the situation to a potential new employer they would likely think I was lying. Somebody is meant to be coming in tomorrow to take over but I am obviously a bit paranoid they won't turn up either. In which case…
