We need to recognize we are not in capitalism right now, and these problems of underpayment would not occur in capitalism, this is because capitalism would allow us to have a free market which would lead to a flourishing economy, along with this if we had actual capitalism which is anarcho capitalism we can hold companies responsible ourselves, if we saw a company performing in bad ethics, we can regulate them, instead y’all want the government to regulate them, tell me one time the government ever did anything correct, there’s also no evidence to suggest that companies would raise prices if the cost of goods didn’t go up aswell, usually this is because y’all are not looking at the whole picture, whenever something occurs in the economy in the littlest of ways it can affect the economy majorly, here’s an example that’s happening right now: Ukraine supplies a lot of…
So I had an argument earlier…
So I had an argument with a friend of mine anyways… long story short. Who would be putting back more into the economy the police or a drug dealer?
This morning i went to my local doctor because i couldn‘t sleep for some days and get crazy bad headaches because of tons of stress from different sources (work, university, sick dog etc.). He gave me a notification of illnes for two weeks so i could finally get some sleep in and relax for a few days. For different reasons i live with my parents since a few months. First thing my mom says to me when i come home is „great you don‘t work today? Cooking and cleaning the house need to be done in 3 hours when i come home from shopping.“ This generation has no concept what being overworked means and why breaks are reasonable. Sorry for typos no native english
There is no shortage of people on here that do not like their bosses (managers, etc). Your manager too often determines the quality of your workplace and its culture. Who they hire, fire, and what sort of language, behavior, and attitudes persist and pervade all contribute to the culture and overall atmosphere we all work in. The old saying is true: people don't quit jobs, they quit managers. The other relevant saying is “The fish rots from the head.” For some time now I've realized that in many ways my general manager is the worst part of my job. They are a bully and frankly not all that competent, although they are good at making themselves look competent which thus far has been good enough. They constantly make excuses, do not communicate well, gaslight, play favorites by the week, spread and start gossip, and will retaliate against perceived criticisms in…
could this be the best job ad ever?
Not sure if this is allowed here, but I know Reddit has some intelligent, insightful people with connections and knowledge. I've worked at Petsmart for a year now. Today I walked out of the store and I'm not returning. For sake of a mass text and anonymity I will try to keep this short. Since day one of starting this job the store leader has had it out for me. My very first day she accused me of stealing $150 out of the register. I've never worked a register before (I've always worked at restaurants) and it was my first training day for that very thing! I got nervous because I was left by myself to figure out how to do it like everything else there. So usually we put $50 bills and $100 bills in a safe below the register. It's not allowed in the drawer. This lady in…

My wife will start to work on july 1st. She is receiving unemployment benefits. She is forced to right applications for jobs the job center finds for her. So she wrote a job application. She got the job offered and she told them she can start if they want but she will quit because she will start other job in 3 months. They angry asked why she applied. She told them she has to and they can complain about it at the job center. Stupid isnt it. Tge jib is too far in tge future that's why she has to do it.
