How IT is supposed to work
Just wanted to celebrate my job and give an example of how management is supposed to take care of you. I'm taking the AZ-900 cert test tomorrow evening, which is optional for my job, as an Engineer on an Application Hosting Team. ( the cert isnt necessary but since we're moving to Azure it looks good and is just generally a good thing to have under my belt) Not only is the test being paid for through my work, but my manager just gave me the day off to study and sleep, paid. Literally said “if you just need to sleep in to be ready for the test, go nuts. Just give a heads up to whatever meetings you're supposed to be in tomorrow”
Pro Tip: READ YOUR ENTIRE HANDBOOK

He kept asking and the only reply he got was “You can go home it’s not working out.” He called me so sad and sounded defeated, I am 16 weeks pregnant with our first kid and now he has no income flow because of this,…
