RESUBMITTED WITH TEXT SCREENSHOT REMOVED My little way of fighting back lately has been making sure I take every survey I get from a corporate place and writing a whole story or over the top claim about whatever employee I encountered during my visit. I never say anything that would get the employee in trouble and I make sure to rate them highly because I too have to deal with surveys in my line of work. Ive attached a few examples. Over the top surveys https://imgur.com/a/R0eXX9F I think it'd be cool if places were inundated with wild claims and bologna surveys while making sure the employees themselves aren't hurt in the process. Rather than just saying “store sucks” I'd rather claim that Greg in the paint section taught me alchemy.
Insulting raise
Took a slight paycut to go to a non customer service department in December. Just had my year review for a raise and was told I get a 25 cent raise. I was told that I was doing a great job and picking it up fast but still only 25 cents. Was also told as in the employee handbook, to not talk about my wages because the department head has fired people before about this. Like, fuck this place this is how you keep wages low. I already talked about my wage when I got over here and it was higher than most of the department who'd been in there position longer than I'd been at the bank.

The “Anti” Working Hour -Tears for Fears
Company closing
So if you view my last posts in here. I have dealt with my boss trying to force me to go to a life coach become his perfect employee. As well as training someone to do my entire job under the promise of a .75 cent raise. Now after packing the bulk of our product alone. My boss has come to me to say in a couple months his partners will be “absorbing” the company and I will have to interview with them to become a manager for them. I asked if it was guaranteed an the interview was a formality or if there is a chance I will be jobless. He said in his opinion it is guaranteed but it could go the other way. So it is not guaranteed asshole. Also the company absorbing us does not pay even its management over 15 an hour. He also threw…
I need your opinions
I'm a recent addition to the sub, thanks for having me. My story is a bit convoluted so stick with it as I need your opinion on if I should apply for the exact same position I was gunning for a year ago at my old employer. So, 4 years ago I accepted a position that had a “verbal agreement” attached “guaranteeing” me a certain rate increase and certain position title if I was able to grow the department enough underneath me to justify it. 2 years ago, it happens! Low and behold, the title and pay guarantees have changed and the position is given to someone else, now my new boss. This person and I do not get along from the get go, leading me to talk directly with the CEO about the promises made when I first started and why they were not met. He directs me to…
Snow days in desert
I live in a desert. Which had me thinking that we never get snow days which could correlate to working more. You know how when there is a blizzard, tornado, or other weather advisory they recommend people stay home which means a day with the family and time alone. Where I live they give heat advisory but everything stays the same. No one stays home and people still hike surrounding mountains which causes a lot of fatalities. Lol. I think it would be cool if we had the option to stay home during heat advisory days. xD
Have you made the move?
Have you made the move from a well-paid career with horrible and disrecpetful bosses to working for nice people with less pay? How did it turn out?
