So as the title says my bosses act like they want me to stay past my scheduled time. I work in retail and as you know things can get hectic but my bosses want me to stay past what they schedule me so that i will get every thing done ie dust mop, put everything back, restock the registers, mop, clean the bathrooms, and probably more that im forgetting. Can i ask them for something in writing that states they want me to have spare time set aside for work or something like that or what?
California recently passed a law that requires companies to pay employees for sick leave dating back to January 1. My boyfriend caught covid, then I did a few days later.
