Background: Happily, I recently got offered a full time remote position where my supervisor explicitly said in the interview that she understands work isn't everything, we have lives to live and family, and that work comes second to that, that she's not a micromanager and will just let me work independently without constant check ins, or any expectations of set hours each day. I of course immediately put in my 2 weeks at my current job which has a very heavy culture of micromanaging. We're on a 3-2 in office/WFH schedule. (I asked to have more balance in my work week since I have a short commute and would have preferred to start in the office each day and have some WFH every day rather than the 3-2 split, but they said no that's not the policy). On days you're in office, you're expected to be in a full 8.5…
I have boundaries and you arent respecting them, trying to reason with capitalists is like being in a narcissistic relationship
My employer hasn’t been paying overtime.
I checked my ADP paystub today. I noticed this week I worked 44 hrs and wasn't paid overtime. I am a store manager in PA and am paid on a hourly rate I am curious if there might be a reason for this? I'm die to work 53 hours this week and am wondering if they aren't going to pay that OT out either I specifically asked for hourly because I knew they might load me with a lot of OT.
Boss peeking through windows
I just saw the boss looking through the windows of two coworkers' cars…. not sure if they're aware… not sure if they told him to find a lighter in there, as he smokes a lot, and plus, the two women who own said cars aren't smokers… is he seriously spying on coworkers now?

Dilemma ⁉️
Two bosses closing company! (R) decided he wants to work alone, then (F) told me he wants me to work with him in his new company. All of this news was dumbed on me in one day and I can't deal with the stress since! Should I go with (F) or leave them both and find something else? I actually feel like F only offered me a job until he gets on his feet and then let me go.
Is this fucked up?
Hello fellow anti workers. Long time subscriber and first time poster. I’m a maintenance guy at a school who’s trying to use the skills he’s acquired to become a contractor at some point or go into some kind of trade, just so I can be my own boss as much as I can. So today at my school, I had an incident with a kid where I bumped into him with a ladder that I was moving throughout the hall. Mind you, I had asked the kids around the area to move, and the kid that I bumped is honestly one of my buddies there, but because he is in middle school, he’s incredibly immature and will often jokingly try and block my path sometimes. I genuinely don’t think that’s what happened today and think that even though I said to move a few times, I didn’t stop and bumped…
