Chains of semislavery
I woudnt dare to call it straight up slavery as it would be disrespectful to actual slaves from history or even nowadays. But in my last post i spoke about one of such chains in american culture which is tipping culture. Now i would like to point out on another chain, which is massive anti-union propaganda. Im sure you saw ads at your work how union is simply bunch of leeches that take out of your salary and do nothing. Because surely if your employer slander something, it must be bad, right? Or the literal crackdowns on any attempts of unionization, firing union leaders from jobs or suing them with made up BS. Think smart, unionize. Your employers know well enough that they can fire one, but they cant fire everyone. Unions benefit you! – They can make better deals regarding wages and bonuses as they speak for all workforce…
I've been trying to understand why there are so many offered position with absolutely unreasonable requeriments and it led me to a conclusion: corporate world is designed by and for sociopaths. For example, a normal entry level job, that supposedly exists for new people in the industry so they can begin working for the first time, the salary is as expected with that principle, so are the bonuses and the working hours, but the experience needed is absurd. When you publish an entry level job offer where you ask for 5 or 6 years of experience, you are not looking for entry level people, you want two specific kind of employees: natural liers that can manipulate your HR into hiring them or desperate people that should not be applying for an entry level offer but they have to pay rent.
