Our circumstance is one of the few hurting the many. You are the many, you can bring this entire apparatus to it's knees. Our labor generates EVERYTHING we see, it's about time we start acting like it.

The Great Sh*t-in of 2011
My husband was just reminded of a time when his former employer's HR manager decided to patrol bathroom time. A note was attached to their checks, saying they need to take advantage of their break times to use the bathroom. Blah, blah, blah… The uproar was furious and immediate then spread like wildfire through the plant. As the men gathered together to discuss the new order, he overheard them saying: worth noting, 98% of these men are from southern Tennessee or northern Alabama. The “holler” accent is strong. “You cain't tell me when to shit, by gawd” “I'm old, I cain't be holding my ass lahk that! I ain't wearing no damn diapers to hold my shit til break!” “Break is when I eat my sammich. I ain't about to shit n sammich!” Guys were tag teaming shits throughout their shifts. I have my bills and rent to pay. I don't have a second income and my current job underpays me. I've been here for almost five years and with my “promotion” I still don't even make the market rate for what my salary should be. So I have been looking for new jobs like crazy. Management here sucks for many reasons outside of the bad pay too. Almost everyone within my department has abruptly quit to leave instead of giving two weeks. And I will be doing the same. This place doesn't deserve one days notice let alone two fucking weeks. Once I find a new job that gives me an offer, I'll write my resignation letter. Send it to management and stop showing up. They can get fucked for how much they have fucked me over while being here. Edit: Looking around at my desk I also wouldn't miss…

Business Management Professor: “Do you think “good pay and raises are the driving force for employee happiness and willingness to stay at a company?” Student: “Yes! 100%! That’s why were working, that why im sitting here in this class. Im def not doing all this just for shits n giggles lol” Business management professor: “Actually youre wrong, studies and surveys show that employee happiness is linked to corporate culture and a challenging work environment. In fact, these studies show that pay is actually very low on the scale” Student: “Interesting, so what you’re saying is that studies and surveys released by companies who most likely don’t want to pay employees good wages and would rather keep those amounts in their bottom line for executive bonuses, released studies which said that “pay isn’t important” to Universities who turn around and attempt to indoctrinate future workers to believe that “they shouldn’t really…
