I am 32 and after almost one year without having any job I must say that this period of my life is probably the best period I’ve ever had. There is no employer who can change my mind.

Anyway im 20 i do a computer science degree first year and im just like why the fuck should i spend up to 25yrs over a quater of my life just to get a entry level job and thats if i fake my personality attend networking events and drop my arse in a extremely competitive area . I’m a plaintiff in a California lawsuit where I was am employee from 2009 to 2018, a remote worker from 2014 to 2019, and a misclassified 1099 “contractor” from 2018 to 2019. Im currently looking down the barrel of what’s called a California Civil Code 998. What this is is a provision where the defendant gets to offer an settlement and if you don’t get more than the settlement amount in an award, you lose the case. In my case the settlement is $151,000. Sounds good, right? Except they’ve ruined my career for being a Medicare fraud whistleblower. I work at a retail store and this company claims to be customer obsessed and FRONTLINE first but that's all bs, as of Feb 13 our leadership for whatever dumb reason took all our chairs off the sales floor, so now we have these awkward tables in our floor and no chairs, cant imagine how awful this must be for our customer that have to be there for those longer transactions, but the reason they gave us is because we aren't productive / meeting our goals, it's the most ridiculous way to get your crew to despise you.
