I graduated in 2020 with a life sciences degree and took large risks to attain employment, but the value of my skills are only diminishing over time. Because, all jobs I’ve landed are entry-level jobs that are purposeless and do not allow proper motivational work. Right now, I’m in crisis mode as I’m the only person on this part of the team and my boss is having emotional outbursts at me at least once a week for no good reason. It’s to the point that I feel physically sick with anxiety. I’m quite certain he’s throwing my character under the bus to his manager too, to make it look like he has it all under control, and nobody else will have to catch wind of these ungrounded outbursts. Me and a friend were talking about making YouTube videos, just making videos of us just playing games, I think it sounds fun to do but it got me thinking about how there are streamers on YouTube who make millions off of children and people who can become dangerously obsessed with them, I just want to know what people here think of larger streamers and youtubers who make money off of the videos and streams they do.

I have a very stressful job. I manage a team, manage my own clients, and am head of a department. My boss is an absolute prick. He makes comments about what I’m eating, nit picks and micro manages the hell out of me. In our management meetings he puts me down in front of the other managers. I've been starting to see lots of noise that we may be seeing the tailend of the pandemic. For some reason, this gave me an anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach that society will go back to life before the pandemic. I feel like the pandemic helped to give people time to stop, analyze, and re-evaluate life. No one wants to work for shit companies. No one wants to work for shit pay. No one wants the stress and pain of trying to make ends meet by side hustling or selling out their hobbies because corporations want to keep paying shit wages. No one wants an imbalanced work-life ratio. People want to actually enjoy life and not spend majority of their waking hours at work. I was hired at the Neon Museum as a tour guide. I was told I could accept tips. Last week the entire staff had a meeting. Like for example even if you are a low wage earner in Metro Manila, you have enough to pay rent and not go homeless without resorting to having a second job. Maybe barely but still not homeless and not having to work more than 8-9hrs a day. Or Im just ignorant. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
