What do I do now?
Hi everyone, I work at a subway, and while I was making a sandwich for a customer (Tuna sandwich), my manager came up behind me and casually pulled my pants down and proceeded to insert a 6ft Italian bread in my anus, fresh from the oven. I was obviously mad because he violated me, but I kind of felt good, and now I have twin breads baking inside of me. I'm so confused, should I sue my manager or quit my job?????
Not serious
I can't tell if the world is worse now than when I was a child or if I'm just more aware of it now lol.
I got the job i had before my current job in 2008. At the time i was a few months behind on everything and barely affording food. I lived in a town with almost no jobs in the SE USA. For example, when a lowes opened up a few years later, there were over 3000 applicants for about 200 positions. Anyway, so i got the job. It was a call center. Not a super bad place to work, until the end. It was there when i needed money to not be homeless. Some fishy things they did while i worked there: had to take a drug test (which is fine) and the nurse was in the bathroom watching me the whole time. Not that i cared, but it was weird. Had a bunch of middle manager types who gave conflicting directions and would “write you up” if you didnt follow…
Great screenshot I just found
Hi. I'm from Russia and work at the biggest bank in the country rn. It's it department to be precise. My manager is a cool dude. The real leader (if you ever saw that meme pic where 2 types of leaders depicted – one pulls the stone along other people, and points at the direction, and the second leader – sitting on top of the stone, being pulled by workers. He's literally the first type) I clock out at 6pm, this guy stays additional 1-2, because of the constant resource wars with other teams – to claw out better position for our team So, i think you get the picture. So one of the days, going as usual – i work on my stuff, my manager again on another online meeting via zoom, at the desk 3m from me. Then comes in this guy, who's his head and be like:…
Every time I post actual issues on my City reddit, it doesn't show up but their postings are all about how to bring more money, business to our city. We are seeing unprecedented growth (in the housing market…same job outlook from the last 10 yrs) but it is all people bidding 50000 plus above asking price, i.e. corporations buying all starter homes and turning them into high end rentals. Since r/spokane is really or should be called r/inviteeveryinvestorandscrewpeoplelivinghere. I felt it was a task for the lovely antiwork crew to descend and rectify.
