You know what has always bothered me by work. When you come in 20 minutes early because there was no traffic you hear no one. When you stay 15 minutes longer because a costumer just called 1minute before your end of the shift you hear no one. But you pack your stuff exactly at when you're done or 1minute before and everyone loses their shit.
There's risk for me releasing this information, as all Walgreens employees are required to sign an NDA as part of their onboarding, so please don't let this fizzle out without any traction. Here's the issue: Walgreens is an extremely wasteful company, and their shady practices can't go unnoticed any longer just because they scare employees against speaking out. Walgreens has a system for unsaleable products that they call “1506ing,” where any product with damaged packing, is near to expiration, or is just plain discontinued is either donated or trashed based on the specifics of the packaging issues/expiry date. They really hammer in during their training that they donate their products, but it's simply not true. Im not sure about you guys, but having this movement linked to anarchy subreddits like r/anarchism and r/anarchy101 , along with others like r/collapse. Seems to make us less about work reform and more about anarchy, which I think most of the sub would agree, isnt on course for what we stand for.
