Title says it all
I know this sub is US-centric, but here is something from Poland: A guy admitted on twitter to firing his employee just because he has 5 children, and his unemployed wife is on benefits. He lied about reason the guy being fired to have a cover for laborinspection service. Liberals and progressives in comment section praise him for firing social parrasite – in Poland so called “progressives” are extremly anti-working class and procapitalist, and they see every working class person the same way. https://preview.redd.it/rwlehh3ifth81.png?width=589&format=png&auto=webp&s=be1a2034d3d9d4e0b968a0dd9aa6355820cf74ac
when art copies life
It’s amazing to me how many people love movies and books like the Hunger Games, Brave New World, etc and don’t connect it to our reality. Like we are living in the Hunger Games now?!!! That’s our world?? How are they enjoying this art without having a panic attack and existential crisis! They just watch this shit then go back to work and go back to living in it! This is dystopian!

The nurses would wipe down and disinfect any food carts and reusable mugs before they were sent back up to the kitchen. But for some reason, the dumbass regional manager thought that this was a waste of time and would rather the cooks, not given any PPE aside from a pair of flimsy gloves should go directly to the door of the covid ward and handle freshly used eating utensils, plates, trays, etc. After about 3 days of doing this, I came down with covid symptoms. Nearly two years of being fine and avoiding infection, until this. What a surprise! So…
