What defines a person?

It feels like everyone i know identifies themselves with what job they are working and I am the only one that sees more in people. When I meet new people or see people i havent seen in a while the first question is always “where do you work” or “what do you study”. The only thing they seem to be interested in is what job i have like its the only thing i am. It definetely seems to be the only thing they are. Everyone only talks about work and ask why I dont have a job yet or tell me I am lazy only because I want to do others thing with my live than having to obey some boss. College vs Trade School

Apparently, people have so many stories of going into debt in college and bad experience with textbooks and education materials handed to them. I was wondering if it would be better to go into trade school instead. I'm really afraid of potentially falling into student debt and having to pay them for the rest of my life. I have so many interests and jobs I want to choose from but I can't make up my mind. At the time of writing this I'm in my third year of high school and we're learning how to be a good worker to appeal to interviewer and employers and make resumes. Young people are pressured to make up their minds on what they want to do and whether they want to go to college or not. It's tiresome, to be honest. I come from a low income background. So I work for a cash in transit company as a armed guard/messenger – delivery boy for a bank like brinks. We have a contractual obligation to deliver money (holdovers) to other companies that operate in the same manner. To set the scenario, we were closed this past Thursday and Friday due to the snow storm we had so holdovers for those two days were backed up. I came in this past Monday to start my shift and was checking out my bags of money for the route and was told I’m delivering the holdovers to “company B;” which was the holdovers they were supposed to come to us to pick up, as well as the ones that were to be delivered to them for those days as well as Monday.
