My personal free diaper policy
When I was a teenager I worked the checkouts at a local supermarket. I didn’t like it and I didn’t like the bosses so I installed a personal policy that everyone coming down my checkout would get one item for free. I just didn’t ring it up. Sometimes I’d make the beep noise for funny. And diapers were always free. One packet per customer. No one ever said anything but it gave me an enormous sense of well being. Beep 🙂
Dare to do this
I’m not anti-work anymore
There are a lot of labor problems in the US, yeah. But you're not going to get anywhere fighting half the country and the billionaires. The more you try to call conservatives nazis and fascists, the farther away you'll be from a solution that's good for all workers. You're trying to have your cake and eat it too, and it's not going to work. I want to be part of a serious labor reform movement, not part of a Twitter gang that tries to cancel people for using unapproved speech. Anyway, this post isn't going anywhere, but I wanted to get that off my chest. I'm out.
Oh Yahoo, that’s just the tip
Cell phone service
I’ve recently completed 3 applications and an onboarding packet. All 4 of these a required info line was who was my cell phone service carrier. Why do they want to know this information?
