I am a software engineer and get lots of recruiter messages advertising various openings. Sometimes they say, “If interested, please reply with your resume and contact information.” I'm thinking, “My LinkedIn profile is exactly what will be on my resume, can you not just download a PDF of it from LinkedIn?”.

If you’re so desperate for workers…
…you’d think the boss would show up for an interview. I only got 5 emails over the past three days through the company’s automated system reminding me about it. I show up and I’m told that person isn’t here, they’ll take my name and phone and get back to me. This is a business that has signage up the wazoo about how they’re hiring. I felt like my time was completely wasted and it doesn’t exactly give me much confidence that this place is managed well. They gave me some excuse about how it’s their “automated system” but if they’re not going to use it why do they have it? One of the main reasons I applied there was because they tout an easy hiring process.
So my job has been crap lately and so I went looking for a new one and was just hired on at a much higher pay rate at another company. I just dont have it in me to tell my boss I'm done on Friday. I know I have to but I'm just dredging it is all.
