So this is my first week in the field. I work a remote position and I have no idea what’s going on. We got mandated to work all weekend. “Cancel your weekend plans.” So far I’ve put in two hours and have been out and about. Probably will do the same tomorrow.
I’d like to apologize in advance, I’m typing this on mobile. I’ve been working for a ski company that’s quite popular globally for a little over 2 years now. I’ve worked my way up from a front desk agent to where I am now, a middling supervisor in housekeeping. It’s been a long journey getting to the point I am now, but let me try to provide context. Me and two of my good friends who are in the exact same position as me, along with our contract labor, have been cut as soon as our seasonal workers got here in early December. Both of the aforementioned groups hold this place down all year. We get more employees for winter because we’re a ski resort. They initially told us two weeks of hours cut then we’re back to normal. It’s been a month at this point. I don’t take a…

Who do they think they are?
I need help. I signed onto this job under the impression I was receiving a starting bonus. I’ve been in this job two weeks now after continuously asking when I would receive it. My supervisor says what they really meant was a commission sale bonus so I’m not getting that money just for accepting the job offer as I expected and received verbal agreement to. I’m livid, this is false advertising. Is there anything I can do about it?
My background is, that I started at a small software development company in something called 'dual study' (“Duales Studium” in Germany) were you can study at the university while working at the company two days a week and during term breaks. This is generally a win for both because you can make some (around 1000€ a month) while gaining experience and they have someone with a degree who knows their tech stack and. The company I work for has done some extra, paying my semester fees, including train ticket, certificate fees I could do at the university etc. which I know from others, is not the norm for this kind of employment. However, I always been rather class's aware, threating this whole thing as my future job and not more. So since I'll probably have my degree in february they want to talk to me about my future in the…
Hello, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Cazidin and today I ask one simple question. I was talking with a friend of mine earlier today, I know them online as they live in Alabama and I do not. Let's call this friend Fay. Fay's landlady, who we'll call April, terminated Fay's lease on their home immediately citing Fay owes almost $2,000 and demands Fay vacates within seven days. Problem being that Fay has kept up with every single payment that's come for the home and without fail. April refuses to send an itemized bill until Monday. I thought tenants had protections for at least 30 days, are we missing something here? Because this is all the info I got. Any advice would be appreciated.
