You live in a union. The United States.
Speaks for itself
I am asking mostly due to the abundance of media from that time portraying America in a much different light than we may see on this sub. I realise a lot could have changed in the span of 13-20 years, but my question is “How much exactly?” I can't really tell, as a zoomer from Europe I've had too rough of a start in life to really notice anything being wrong in the modern society. Thus, I'm trying to gain a broader perspective on how much things have changed over the years. All replies are deeply appreciated!
Do you have a servant’s heart?
Im “part time”
Work 34-39 hours NEVER 40 cause that would make them have to admit im full. Is there any legal action i can take?
My boss claimed half my pay
Essentially I work for a family run vape shop. I am one of 2 employees. There is only ever one employee on duty throughout the day however the shop requires at minimum 2 employees at all times due to how busy it gets. I work way harder than I need to/asked to/paid to because I enjoy my job. I often soend my own money buying small items for the shop, buying airtime to make phone calls for the shop, use my personal money for change when the shop.runs out, use my personal fuel to delivery stock to customers after hours for which im not paid extra etc. I work in extremely uncomfortable conditions as the shop A/C broke long ago and mgt has refused to fix it, let alone supply us with a fan. Temps inside reach upwards of 35°c. I have to fight to get time off even though…
