Okay, so I'm asking this on behalf of fiance. She is a dentist and about five years ago she was terminated from her position at one of those corporately owned dental places. Think Aspen Dental. That's not where she worked exactly but it was something fairly similar. That being said, these places have a tendency to be very shady to all involved. This includes staff and patients. In fact, my fiance's experience working at one these places along with some awful stories that she has heard through the grapevine from some of her colleagues about some of these places have compelled her to tell others to avoid these places like the plague if you need dental work. i work in a childcare facility & i have gotten sick three times now (i started in sept). 2 weeks ago i tested positive for influenza b, showed my boss my doctors note saying i had to miss two days. when i came back, i found out other co workers (my boss included) shit talked me because i “wouldn’t get over it & show up anyway”. thinking you can speak on how someone else feels is literally ridiculous !! if someone isn’t 100%, let them rest. not everyone can just feel better in a day or two, some of us have weakened immune systems (like me) so being sick hits 10x harder !! ive been out sick again with influenza a since yesterday, my doctor told me five days i have to stay home & i can already hear the girls at work shitting on me

I'm not gonna give my current company's name away but I will say it's a LARGE CARD COMPANY. In the warehouse I work at, they have a gift shop for people to come in and shop at…while the rest of us are working. I've seen groups of old people with their grandkids just coming in when we're all on break and coming out with large bags filled with shit, I was in there once smelling the candles, yk…not working. And a woman about 40 asked me how much a couple things would cost assuming I worked in the gift shop, I turned, looked at the stuff and said “about an hour of my day” she laughed and said seriously how much all together so I quickly looked at the prices on em and said “oh closer to 2 hours,I only get paid 15.25 an hour” She seemed kind of shocked…
