Today I have just had the most random job interview. It was for a big proffsional company. So I wait in the reception for about 10 minuets as I’m soon greeted and spoken to by the manager of the department. He walks me around and talks to me abit about the job. After that we wait in another room while his boss as she’s the one who handles interviews and he had to go back to his station. She comes in and asks me to come outside with her and even brings a chair. Next thing I know I’m sitting infront of a woman washing her car as she asks me interview questions. It was so random but I found it funny and figured I wanted to share the experiance. Anyone else had any weird or random interviews?
What’s your dream job?
I am starting a new job soon after and I feel afraid that I will always allow people to take advantage of me no matter where I work. I’ve been at my current employer for a very long time and management just dumped a ton of workload on me and shit on me over the years. I have finally come to the decision to leave and seek employment at a better place but I am afraid I will fall into the same trap and do the same thing. Has anyone else ever experienced this or know how to set boundaries to not be a doormat at work, especially when you are new? I feel like I always want to be liked by everyone and it just leads me into trouble.

One of my managers made me cry today
Today was emotional, I’ve had many jobs before so I’ve had plenty of different job experience and know how things work, etc. well this job I have currently is the first job that made me break down and cry. Own of my managers (older women) accused me of stuff, and threatened to fire me, I tried defending myself but she yelled at me and told me I was being disrespectful and I shouldn’t talk back to her. I said okay and the other manager (younger women) over heard and told the older manager it was misunderstanding and how it was her fault for giving me the wrong directions. (Health inspector coming to visit). She did apologized and I wasn’t surprised many co workers hate or dislike her and have quit or told the DM (cuz the SM doesn’t listen) about how horrible of a person she is. She’s infamously known…
my work charges us for ppe
I work in a glass factory and found out they charge us 25 cents from our paycheck for every pair of gloves or safety glasses we get from the vending machine. Is this even legal? I thought they were required to provide it
