Title pretty much says it all. I filed a complaint. Part of that complaint specifically discusses how an HR rep committed retaliation against a protected class for a protected act. Over 1 month after filing this complaint there had been no response. Not even an acknowledgment that it had been received. I email the head of hr to confirm it was received. I am told that there will be follow up from a team member. The HR rep that follows up as investigating the claim is the same HR rep that I reported. FML.
Worked at said establishment for about 8 months now. Never had any issues with management, write-ups, or meetings about how I could improve as an employee. I was good friends with higher-ups and went out for drinks/dinner with them often. Today when I clocked in for work, my supervisor pulled me into his office along with my manager who I was supposedly good friends with. He handed me my final paycheck and told me that I’m being let go due to not being a good fit for the company any longer. I sat there stunned, as I had no previous offenses that would lead to immediate termination. When I asked them why they were letting me go, they simply told me I was no longer a good fit. They said I could still use them as a reference for future employers, but this was a final decision. I grabbed my…
How big of a deal is this?
My family has had some medical issues in the past couple of weeks, and sometimes I would have to call out of work to get my family to appointments/take care of them. When I would text my boss this, hours before my shift, he simply would not respond, until I show up to work the next time. Is this a big deal, or should I not worry about it.

I’m pretty proud of myself
I work at nameless credit union in this state USA. Yesterday they start going over evaluations one by one. We're small.. no one is nervous about losing their job.. the evaluations are most annoying. My head teller goes first.. I'm the teller in charge so I'm next. I go in and the topic is of raises.. everyone gets one but.. I'm sure you where this is going. So my ceo is a good person.. she was just brought up from the inside.. started when she was 16. But she slipped and I had to correct her. She said if we're caught talking about pay there will be consequences. I stopped her immediately and said you can't say that. And I genuinely don't think she knew that. Her and the other manager in the meeting looked at each other like it's that true and o saw her hand go for the…
I do not plan to pay any repairs or replace anything, I just wanna Fuck with them, but certain things are locked due to me not having the iCloud password, tomorrow is my last day. I have so far cleaned out all of my stuff and set all the notifications to the most annoying radar ringtone Apple has to offer, any suggestions? I turned off all notifications and the badges for the email updates so they’re gonna have to figure that one out, I know I could turn off a lot of location settings and even turn data off for certain apps but that would moreso inconvenience the poor soul that gets this piece of shit after me, and if that person wants to go on pornhub more power to him 🤣 I More so wanna give my old boss more work if possible while making it look obvious but…
Me being taught something is me being corrected at the same time cause I wasn’t shown initially how to do it… A anonymous coworker was petty and took pics of a mistake and sent it to the manager, now I feel like I’m under her radar. Still in the 90 day probation period which ends in December.. I need a year of experience to be able to apply to other positions for this profession… so I must stay here for now.. a year MAXIMUM at this place…. I got 6 months of experience from health center.. technically I would have a year of experience in March, maybe that will work by then.. but having 6 months here and there would look choppy… I just hope this year doesn’t kill me. My ultimate goal is to take 13 week contracts at a time, which needs at least a year of experience….…
