A losing competition
Time to leave to start my own company
Started at the company 4 years ago. Was doing around $14k – $20k In revenue per month. I took over as sales / analyst / procurement / basically everything other than progression of sales. I work 70 hours per week well outside of contracted hours and do a lot of deals on evenings and weekends , I almost single handedly turned the company from a 20k a month business to a 200k – 250k a month business , I was the entire sales force , I had to find real estate deals and find investors to buy them , it was getting to the stage where I was wondering where does the company come in? Based on 10% commission I take home over six figures after taxes and it’s great , however ,Unlike huge companies selling a service based on spending thousands if not millions on marketing / leads ,…
Basically I've been really sick and I've been seeing a doctor since. I've been in touch with management and so on but only today I just noticed that in not even scheduled or anything. I actually have contracted hours so I'm not sure if it's even possible? I'll be asking for holiday pay because I at least deserve this much. I don't know what else can I really do….I just moved recently and haven't registered with a doctor yet so I have no documents other than what I've been given at the hospital. Any advice?
Dead end job rant
It’s my first day at walmart and my feet and legs are killing me. I’ve been moving nonstop for 15/hr. Unfortunately I need the job to support my goals so the tuition/supplies for school (become a medical assistant and eventually PA). I guess I’m just upset I have to break my back for capitalism for the time being. On top of that everyone in my department is unhappy and/or injured and I see why

reviews for our superiors?
We, as employees, are constantly subject to review from those above us. What if we could provide feedback on our superiors? Did your manager provide anything of value? Has your manager improved your work culture? Has your manager, in fact, done anything to justify their higher pay rate?
