Pooping in a bucket
Just trying to get other's input on how crazy this is. As of yesterday our toilets (men's room -2 toilets and 2 urinals/women's – 1 toilet) are useless. Apparently our pipes rotted away and they are full of dirt/soil. We are a fairly small company with 20-30 employees. Me and two other coworkers are just shocked at how no one else at the company seems to think this is a big deal. It's a law to provide working restrooms or am I crazy? The water isn't usable to wash your hands even. The closest restroom is a 5 minute drive from our place of work. If someone has legit diarrhea, they more then likely will shit their pants before reaching a toilet. Anytime I or the two other employees talk about how crazy this is they basically try to make us look snooty because we don't want to shit in…
I am a personal assistant and have been working in this family business for a few months. My pay is $14.50 and I occasionally do overtime. I am friendly with my boss and my colleagues. I was complaining to my woman colleague how unfair it was that our wages were quite different (she makes $22.50), even though we do the same job!! She must have told this to boss because later in the week towards the end of the day he called me to his room and told me about what he heard from my woman colleague and how I was unhappy. My boss said she was getting a higher rate because she paid the price in the past. I asked what's that and he said “well, you can get a raise two ways; you either suck up to your boss or your suck your boss”. WTF?????? I AM FUMIIIIIING!…

Are they trying to get rid of me?
My job sent out an email to all full time employees stating we could go down to 20 hours a week until the end of the year without using any of our earned paid time off. This confuses me because wouldn’t that make me a part time employee? Why would they offer this?
