In the US. Where I’m employed it has been said recently by management that our “disciplinary actions between team members and management is exactly that, between the team member and manager.” I believed that this was protected the same way that discussing pay with fellow employees/ team members is protected. Am I wrong? I found one article online agreeing with me, stating that employees can share this information. That was all I could find as the rest of the links are geared towards teaching employers how to discipline their employees.
Hello. My friend and I work at the same job. She wasn’t allowed to deliver food to guests outside because there was a man taking pictures of her one day. Well yesterday, she figured out that wasn’t the real reason. They didn’t want her to because she’s disabled. I’m not sure if there’s any actual evidence besides hearsay. But she may be quitting because they won’t allow her to not work weekends. Thank you, if there’s any questions please ask.

Positive story time! Ive been a nurse less than a year, graduated last december- Ive gotten THREE raises since i started at my hospital and my hospital already has competitive rates. The traveling nurses here say my pay is the best theyve ever heard of for a regular floor staff nurse. I like our hospital system, i think patients get good care, and we have good nurse/patient ratios. I just got my 3rd raise today! Not that money is enough to make me stay anywhere- if ratios and the work environment sucked, you couldnt pay me enough. I dont think loyalty to a company is a huge thing anymore with pensions gone, but i gotta say, this hospital is treating me well. My managers are great and flexible too. As long as they keep it up, ill stay. Other business/hospitals (looking at you Minnesota) should take note lol
