What do you look for in your workplace?
If you wanted to create a small company (office type) with a few employees what are the bonuses you would like? Of course, appropiate wage with raises and bonuses are a must. For me, I like to not be bothered after my work time and to have a social room where I can heat my food. During the pandemic, the hybrid or remote work became really popular, though it's not very appealing to me personally. What are your thoughts?

Mandatory overtime makes me lose all hope and motivation Only having 4 days to yourself a month is so demoralizing and makes me feel inhuman. I want to be free.

Knowing what you know now, what do you wish you could go back and ask? Alternatively, what one question will you now always ask at future job interviews to make sure you're making the right decision?
I work within the cannabis industry. This week I interviewed at a new company and was hired on the spot. However, once I began asking questions about my schedule I quickly realized what kind of company this is. HR told me they require 100% availability 7 days a week. Your schedule rotates, so different shifts every week with “last minute changes you’re required to accommodate.” As the title says, this is a minimum wage job. I interviewed for a shift lead position and they told me that on top of “100% availability” it’s my duty to be on call on my days off and if I want one specific day off, I must request the day 1 month in advance, which they may not approve. I should have realized what I was dealing with after hearing that one of their locations unionized, also every employee I met had been there…
