Today at work there was a meeting to formally meet the new C.o.o . He asked why they can't hire more people and someone told the truth . It was said that the wages suck . Everybody wants more money per hour. And alot of employees are mislabeled putting them in a lower pay scale. I think the new chief got an ear full and it's looking like a pay raise may be in the works company-wide.
Anyone know if the Ohio locations are union? I know the Pittsburgh stores are.

Just some thoughts…
Soo I’m a 28 year old, live in Midwest, work in media. Started with a dream at about 15 didn’t land my dream job until I was about 25. The Agency I work for pays over 50k salary to everyone, we work 32 hours a week (no fridays), full benefits, 10-6 is our base but you can make your own hours there is no clock in / clock out. There is no hierarchy in position only in responsibility to get tasks done. Everyone gets unlimited PTO, we all take a few weeks of a year for vacation, and can take days / mornings / afternoons off whenever we have the time. Anywho it’s a lot of freedom, not everybody can handle pushing a company forward without someone spoon feeding tasks, but it works as a great filtration system. When People take advantage of the freedoms, they don’t get anything done.…
(Please forgive my grammatical errors) I graduated with my bachelors and got a job in the corporate world. I was so excited and was so ready for it. But as i have started working, I have started to realized how dumb I am. Literally everyone else are so much more smart. So I started this job about 2 weeks ago. There were some basic trainings at first. But, now that i have entered my 3rd week, the work load has increased drastically. My boss has assigned me this 300+ pages (I am not exaggerating a bit) of report to read and understand from it. May be this is normal for new hires in the corporate world but tf am i supposed to understand that bulky doc within a week of starting my work. I have absolutely no prior knowledge of this company and its not that I don’t ask for…
They expected something we have never supported. “This contradicts the impression they had from the sales pitch.” Well then someone gave them the wrong impression. “This really impacts our relationship with the client.” It impacts your commission. “Are you taking responsibility for this?” No. You lied. I got put on a special project. It appears to be that the only thing special about it is that I get screamed at instead of the sales team who fucked up before I was even hired. I went above and beyond for this client (who doesn't even pay for my specialized service and team). Took a full week. Tested hours of workarounds with engineers (who they also don't pay for). Came to that meeting in good faith with potential workarounds to get treated like shit. The rep just smiled in the corner on zoom. The client wanted support within another platform. No, we…
