The system is guilty
Just got fired for trying to organize
I was employed as a fabricator at a company that makes electric vehicles in California. (No, not that one) The place I live is pretty expensive and I had been talking to my coworkers about how it’s so hard to make ends meet. Turns out most of us were going to the food bank just to survive but didn’t tell anyone else about it. Once I opened up about my own situation everyone else identified and they were all pissed. We are all skilled workers. Welders, fabricators, electronic techs, mechanics, etc… We got together and decided to stage a walkout next Monday morning and management must’ve heard about it because they canned me fast. My point is that they are scared. They are FUCKING PETRIFIED of you doing something progressive and getting together. I’m a casualty in a war that can still be won. Don’t give up. Don’t settle for…
They’re actually your worst enemies…
I’m a store manager at a retail chain and have been underpaid and overworked for years. Another company has now taken a notice of my productivity and work ethic and has made me an offer I can’t turn down. I gave a notice, was disrespected again like many times before, and am now deciding to message him at the end of my shift to tell him I won’t be in tomorrow. Feels good man.
I'm not against covid vaccinations, but they require 1 flu shot and two covid shots within a month of each other before they hire me. To me this seems excessive and puts me in danger of albeit rare side effects. Myocarditis for example. I already have hearth murmurs, idk how the vaccines would affect that condition. Combined with me already having covid naturally recently, and being afraid of needles, this has me sketched the fuck out.
Marty Stratton, @idSoftware Studio Director, lied about @DOOM Eternal's OST events in a Reddit post that used disinformation to blame me entirely for its failureLater, he offered me a six-figure sum to never speak about it The truth is more important.https://t.co/zSNo2QG1mI— Mick Gordon (@Mick_Gordon) November 9, 2022
Elite Money Laundering
Hello everyone, I had another epiphany. So I got a letter in the mail saying there's gonna be another stimulus payment. It made me realize something. Isn't the stimulus payment just professional money laundering? They keep printing the damn stuff which devalues it to begin with. Then they hang it out in the form of stimulus checks. People spend these check with businesses or investments which go to the rich. It's basically cash gift money laundering. There's a reason the rich got richer during covid. They enforced unconstitutional ordinances which screwed the economy and gave everyone cash gifts for them to spend.
Just curious. I'm debating quitting my job soon. Worst case scenario I could go back to my old retail job and at least make a couple hundred dollars per week. I have decent savings that will keep a roof over my head, although it would be nice to not eat into that too much. But let's not make this about me. I want to hear about your experiences quitting a job when you had no backup plan.
