Why do we need x years of experience for a job that isn’t overly complex?

I really don’t understand why you need X years of experience to do a corporate job that you can learn in 2-3 weeks. Most software isn’t tough to learn for me. But corporate egos get hurt when they hear this. But nobody wants to work! (We have the lowest unemployment ever) Nobody can get these jobs with the insane requirements for experience. They don’t want to train you, they don’t want to help you grow. They want you to know everything about the job already and get on the field like the serf you are. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I also think the “years of experience” requirement keeps you in the lower class for years. You’re also told to invest while you’re young with a shit wage. The scam keeps going!

Are there really any work from home jobs that consists of doing mostly nothing all day?

I frequently stumble onto threads on Reddit about remote work and I see quite a few people will feel like they are getting paid to do nothing like this guy. Some of them say they get 8 hours of work done in only 2 hours and use the rest of that time to do what they want. I personally would love to get a remote job mostly for the downtime I get. I want to know are most remote jobs like this and how do I get one?

Amazon bleeding Billions

Amazon may make you feel like you're dispensable but it is costing them billions in dollars. These billions are bottom line billions. Simple put a billion in lost sales does not hurt as much as a billion in lost profit. https://www.engadget.com/amazon-attrition-leadership-ctsmd-201800110.html

NEVER work alongside other members of your home.

Vent ahead. Being poor is bullshit. I share a home with 3 other people, and two of them work at the same place I did. I went to quit today because my boss's boss was spreading disrespectful ass rumors about me to my managers, and the pay is a measly 11 dollars an hour for a two-person job. Well, when the primary owner of the house found out, she told me to get back to work or get out. My car is having transmission problems that I'm still trying to fix, and I wouldn't have quit if it weren't for my boss finally breaking my last strand of patience. Boss-boss lady is close friends with the primary house owner, and despite me busting my ass for that company for half a year, I never even got a lick of PTO and I only get about 2-3 holidays off a year.…

Is it legal for my employers to force me to come in off the clock for a disciplinary meeting and write up in PA?

I'm going through a really rough spot right now. Since October 1st, I've been homeless as a result of domestic violence(with no resources that I've been able to find since the abuse comes at the hands of family and not an intimate partner). I've also managed to show up for every one of my shifts despite the fact that I no longer have a safe place to live. When all of this happened, I thought to myself, “Well, you spent four years working at a hotel so at least you have someplace to go.” HA! Wrong. I won't go into the whole drama and nastiness that was thrown my way but, suffice to say, my employers told me that I had until yesterday and then I wouldn't be allowed to stay any longer despite the fact that I was paying the full employee rate to do so. I was distraught…

“Come work with us. We’re like family,”

is the reason people join gangs. If you're a visitor to the idea of desperation, I invite you to look at your own life. Perhaps you have some kind of family that helps you when you are in need. Unfortunately, not everyone does. It's common to question why people turn against each other, instead of against the people at the source. People ask just how poverty leads to crime, and why people don't steal from the rich instead. This is about life and death, not a political statement. When a riot breaks out, there will be looters because that can extend life another few weeks. People do get criminal records, and that can just mean they fell into desperation with no net one too many times. The idea of being part of something that treats you “like family” is genuine, but rarely does a company actually invest in an employee…

Video Games that show corporate abuse.

I recently played a video game called Hardspace Shipbreaker. In this game you are literally owned by a corporation and nickle and dimes for everything as you earn massive profits for the corp. As you progress you see a union rise up, union busting tactics, and eventual success by the employees. Are there any other games out there that show the worst of corporate greed/manipulation?
