I know this isn’t job related but I googled to see if I have to sign this in order to not continue my current lease and I have found no answers. I absolutely cannot stay at this apartment any longer they have terrible reviews and are a major money scam and there’s a list of reasons I want to move. All of their reviews say that the tenant has cleaned even hired a cleaner and they still charged them from damages. I don’t want to be screwed over so do I have to sign this in order to move? Why would anyone be charged for pet reasons or a carpet cleaning fee isn’t that what the deposit is for?
One place I interviewed at has awesome hours, but their way of keeping track of new patients and things that need to be done is really poor. It's all on paper. They are majorly backed up with work. They only have health insurance. Employees were kinda dull and didn't interact with me during the working interview. Second job admits to being extremely understaffed, but the staff was really friendly and easy to get along with, and open on what was to be expected and how it would be busy. They're corporate, but I was surprised that they had insurance but no 401k. It seems the only high paying, legit WFH jobs I can grab are at temp agencys. People who work healthcare, is this the norm rn? I've been gone from it for 2 yrs. I feel like I should just take the temp jobs. I'm on a time crunch…
Should I quit? Why?
After realizing how precious time is, I realized that I barely have any free time in my day working full time and studying full time for $1K a month. Work is far and a big portion of my salary goes towards gas. I don’t need to work, but having a salary/allowance is nice.
So I am on HR approved medical leave, paid for by a very small portion over 100 days of accrued sick leave. My supervisor keeps giving me the “I know you are on leave but can you…..” It is up to five contacts now for stuff that can easily wait, she is claiming that it is customary for people to still work while they are on sick leave. Does that actually violate the federal and state FMLA laws? Any suggestions?
I work at a Pizza Hut in Texas as a manager. I already make $11.50 an hour so the pay is pretty bad already. Today, my boss wanted me to be a driver since we have only 2 drivers employed. Yeah, 2. So I clocked in as a driver today and looked at the pay rate and I stared in disbelief. You get payed $4 an hour as a driver. If you get good tips you’re lucky. Today has been slow and I’ve only made a few dollars in tips, so my 8 hour shift is gonna net me $36 before tax. Fuck that dude.
Quiet Quitting Explained
Just showing some love to a small youtuber because he is spitting facts about why we choose to Quiet Quit. But something tells me the companies and bosses wouldn't even register the truths he is stating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-6hMbM0HOM
What kind of clock in time is this?
Job Classification: Bailiff (Full-time) Location: removed Department: Chief Judge’s Office removed Regular Work Week: Monday through Friday Hours of Operation: 8:00am to 4:30pm Wage: $14.34 per hour plus benefits ($0.60 increase after successful completion of 60-day probationary period) i cant even find a decent paying job working for my city also the amount of health care jobs is alarming. even outside of covid there is waaaay to much demand for nurses and health care workers.. almost like everyone is getting sick from years of NOT having access to free health care and its starting to catch up to people.
