Called the store, spoke with the lady in charge of hiring, ONLY to be told they had NO OPEN stocking positions…   She then tried to push me into accepting a job handling Automotive, Paints/Fabrics, Hunting/Fishing I went shopping there a few days after, only to see pallets all over the floor, and ONE guy attempting to stock the store all by himself… Why do they do this? Shoot themselves in the foot? I simply wanted a job with the least amount of human interaction. This lady is trying to force me into the job of three people for the pay of ONE. Fuck that.

I kept going back and forth on whether I should post this, but I need someone to hear my cries. I’m a veteran in my late 20s and I work full time while finishing up my Bachelors Degree. I took the job in this company as it is a big company with many chances to grow. I have a boss who is just causing the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced and I feel so helpless. He doesn’t know how to manage people. I think he’s got Aspergers? He does not know how to read a room. He says the most inappropriate things at the wrong time. I’m not against poking fun at in a department as I was in the military but when someone is clearly not laughing with you, you need to drop it. He doesn’t seem to quite get it. He constantly berates and talks…

Hi all, Friday just gone I left my job of 8 years which was extremely toxic and stressful etc. 40 hours a week doing overtime most weekends and giving up my free time. Anyway my last day my boss didn’t even say goodbye. Didn’t shake my hand and nowhere to be seen. I sent him an email saying thank you and there is no reply. I’m only getting a few hours sleep with so much stress and anxiety kicking in I feel absolutely gut wrenched as if I’m another brick in a wall. Il be looking for work very soon but I feel so depressed and feel like a very bad person.
