had to share this lol
Anti-Work themes are making people lazy.
Let me elaborate… it’s not that I’m in favor of these huge corporations driving people further and further into poverty; it’s more like people not wanting to work is creating a trend of laziness which in turn causes a lack of motivation to work hard and to get things done for a business or any task in life. Embrace working hard, but only for the right things and people. Not corporations. Society will not get better unless you help it be better. Stop complaining so much and just get out there and do it.
hmm, no that’s not what we… no, wait
So Canada decided to give all federal employees the day off for the Queen's funeral day, and then left it to the provinces. BC basically said all government employees got the day off paid, and private employers are to do “what they feel is appropriate” for their staff. Like any private employer would say anything other than “it is appropriate for my staff to work”. Sept 30th was also a day off for government, the Truth and Reconciliation day to reflect on the atrocities of the residential schools. While I won't comment on whether or not one should have either of the days off, the fact that government workers got the day off while the rest of us had to slave the day away motivates no one.
Didn’t feel like going to work today
I reported my absence to my place of employment and gave them a reason why I wasn't coming to work today. I just wanted to watch League of Legends World's tournament. I have been here for a year with good work ethic and attendance. Now I just don't give a damn anymore, all management people have big egos and don't appreciate good work ethic. They choose lazy workers over good workers just because they are buddy buddy with them. People here are just rude for no reason, so it's time for me to stop caring. I can't believe they people here actually think i need this job because I really don't. There's plenty of other jobs that pay the same if not more! https://preview.redd.it/0qs63mpcx5r91.jpg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=819cd26dc72b63679256ddefff2caa5c78a15a8f
