i am so confused what should I do

I had an interview for Trader Joe's. Did extremely well. They scheduled a second interview, I did even better the second time. So they scheduled a third interview. Knocked it out of the park. They called me and asked me to complete the questionnaire on my email, said I got hired, I was really happy about it. So I completed the questionnaire. A couple of days rolled around, I kept waiting for a call. Didn't hear back from them yet. So I called them myself and they said I have to sign some paperwork and whatnot and they will call me. It's been a day and I haven't received a phone call yet. Should I call them again? Bruh I need a job right now and I was really excited to work here. Edit' they called me, I meet with them today at 2 pm

“No wun wants to werk ennymore”

Remember the “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” saying? Turns out the new gens are following it 18 year olds are realizing just how much $$$ and freedom there is in cutting lawns, making websites, and pressure washing. Imagine breaking through the social construct BS and realizing business/corp owners aren't some 'special elite' group of people and you only need like $100 and an internet connection to become a successful entrepreneur. ALSO One can drive rideshare and/or complete other gig work and net $70k+/yr (+healthcare, +education benefits, – bosses/customers that are upset about their lives and, as a result, make you miserable)

Delivery driver, never fast enough.

So like the title says, I work as a delivery driver. I pick my car up, go to the terminal, pick up my packages for my route and then I keep going. I have a driver app on my phone and they typically give me between 1 and a half minute to 2 mins and 30 seconds to deliver each package. I work in a big city, it’s hard to find parking spots close to the locations where I deliver. I usually have to walk a bit or park very illegally somewhere and hopefully not get a ticket. Like 1/3 of the deliveries, I have to go to the apartment, find the right name and click on the buzzer and hope that they’re home. Once they let you in, you usually have to run up for like 4-5 stories without an elevator with a heavy crate. Sometimes you have to…

Am i stealing jobs from Americans?

I live in Brazil and just landed a job to work remotely for an US company for $72k/year. Since the brazilian currency (Real) is much less valuable than the dollar, 1 dollar = 5 real, for me this job is the equal to R$360k/year. That's more than double of what i received from my last job. Looking at Glassdoor, i can see an American would likely receive $100k/year for the same job. So that got me thinking, this company is only hiring me because it's cheaper than hiring an American and this salary will still be a big plus for me. But that's one less job available in the US. In a way i am making things worse for the US workers and i don't know how to feel about this. Am i stealing jobs from Americans?

Company makes everyone part-time to take away benefits, then makes us work overtime

I work in a casino. Owners/Management switched a couple years ago and now we are seeing a lot of change for the negative. The highlight of this is as described in the title. The dealers(the most staffed position) were all forced to go from 5 days/8 hours to 4 days/6 hours. This is my speculation but I imagine this was only done for the purpose of not having to pay benefits for any of these employees. So everyone lost their health benefits and yet the casino has now made most of the staff switch back to 5 days a week. They are only scheduled 6 hours a day but for many shifts they end up working 10+ hours everyday. The dealers are still 'part time' with no benefits yet working 50+ hours a week. Is this legal at all? It just feels so wrong. Full disclosure: I only started working…

Is it worth bothering with an exit interview

The questions are a bit loaded like: What do you like What do you dislike How is your relationship with your manager How is your relationship with staff Would you say it’s a good place to work Would you come back Why did you choose to leave Describe your experience I initially said yea but after thinking about it, maybe it’s not worth the hassle because I can’t be nice about it and I know it’s never a good idea. I wouldn’t be true to myself if I turned up and was polite about it all
