So I have been working at this company for quite some time now. The money is good, I’m good at it, I made a few friends, but my boss is a horrible human being. I’ve heard him say stuff about raping women, he has used the n word before and he’s a complete slumlord to all his employees except for like 2 of them. We’ve had osha stop us before from working in unsafe conditions but he got away w it. I heard if you build a case w osha or the EEOC in your state there’s a payout reward I was wondering if anyone had any education about building cases like that?

All the torture is over. I probably hate working for someone more than anyone here. Being told what to do and treated like an underling is my villian backstory. It would be a miracle if i made it to a full year of working a regular job. Imagine that there is muliple grenades where you work. Now imagine that these grenades are people. Thats one simple way to describe how working was for me. Constantly feeling doomed and trapped where i dont want to be. Im sure everyone feels this way, but I throw everyone off that i work for since I dont care to call when i quit. It slowly took chunks out of my sanity with every shift. I invested damn near everything i made for years. Little did i know, with each time i put money away into something i believed in i was chipping away at…
I used to work at a small family-owned coffee shop about a year ago and reported them for wage theft among other things when I quit. I had plenty of proof. Apparently they got investigated and were not happy. I would see them around town and they would be passive aggressive towards me. Today, my mom told me my boss contacted her in the comments of a Facebook post to tattle on me(I'm 20) for reporting her. My mom said it wasn't her fight but she saw the paychecks and they were wrong. Just the audacity to say that stuff in public…like…what? She was paying me under minimum wage and taking the credit card tips, as well as having us clock in and out wrong so she could pay us even less than that. I was working like 60 hours a week and only made $12,000 USD/year. Lesson learned for…

Bypass Time Tracking Software
I've been working remotely for a while and noticed that employers are starting to monitor their employees using tracking software. I have multiple laptops for my jobs and it was getting annoying having to wiggle my mouse every few minutes/hours. I got tired of doing that and wanted to look like I was working. After doing some research I found https://www.lazywork.xyz. Been using it for a couple of weeks now and works great so far. It switches between my desktop apps, scrolls, moves your mouse, and apparently does keyboard stuff too (haven't seen it actually type, and it doesn't mess up my workspace). I tried it out on Time Doctor which is a popular tracking software and it doesn't get flagged. Just thought I'd mention it for all the lazy workers out there.
