For the last 6 months, I’ve been juggling two projects while my company bills me to two different clients and I only get paid my one salary. The first project should’ve ended 2 months ago ago and I was told (over the phone, my mistake) I could handover the first one at the end of July since it’s nearing the “end”. I just emailed my manager to ask him when I can give it over and he said “you will hand it over once it’s 100% done and it’s not 100%”. This is all done while driving an hour in traffic each way to be in an office where I sit there and commute with my main office via temas that is in a different location… So you are going to stick me with two different projects until the foreseeable future? Sure, I’ll just stay at home and continue doing…
Wife was denied a promotion at work
She was three days shy of her 90 days when she applied. Company has a policy that says she can’t be promoted within the first year without approval from a manager so she asked. Her manager and her manager’s manager approved her to apply for the position, but their manager squashed it at day 98 saying she hadn’t yet shown her loyalty to the company. They then went with an outside hire. I can’t, for the life of me, understand how they thought that outside hire would have more loyalty, or how they thought that wouldn’t drive her to look elsewhere.
How fun.
help me rise above this please
my job is awful, 100% because of my boss (the job itself could actually be amazing if it wasn’t for him, which makes me sad). But anyway, I have handed in my notice!! I have to get through the notice period though, I would just tell him to shove it after what just happened but I need the money He insists on working on a sunday (some stuff that needs to be posted on social media) but he normally covers this as it’s written into my job description that I don’t work weekend. he’s away atm but, i just sent him the asset needed for this weekend post and he’s said ‘You need to do this and other things this Sunday” that’s word for word no please or sorry or anything. it’s not my problem he’s away? I am so angry right now, knowing I am leaving the job in…
Thoughts?
God damn. ….That's the whole post.
I worked for my company for 2 years and the micromanaging was getting old. However the tipping point was not getting paid for sick leave. I had 250 holiday hours and 38 hours sick pay hours as well as regularly worked 40-70 hrs a week. In the contract you only give Dr note for 3 days. My pay this week was $600 short as was not paid for my 2 sick days despite doing all the paperwork. If I am not paid I am a volunteer no? I QUIT immediately, returned my uniform and said have fun paying minimum wage and expecting super heroes. “Nobody wants to work anymore…..” for aholes yes
