To all my Americans: where do you plan to go? Housing is becoming more unaffordable by the day, healthcare is a joke, and now women are being forced to supplement the new labor force whether they want to or not. I’ve been saving up to leave the US and want to go before we fully transform into a prison country. I hear Spain is nice….

Women should withdraw their services. We clearly don't have enough brains to make decisions about our bodies, why take responsibilities for anything else.

Last night I was told by a friend who is a ship planner they all got given a Tesla. That is what a good company does for you (and the environment)
Mass Exodus at Work
If you’ve seen some of my posts (yay), I was underpaid at work by a long margin, and am leaving at the end of next week after receiving an offer for 50% more (yay again) Well, yesterday we had our end of period wrap up. Under my manager alone, I knew I was the fifth person to leave in as many weeks, and at the pub yesterday I found out a sixth person was leaving – for the same reason as the rest of us – basic salary! Got to talking with other colleagues and a manager, only to find out they were leaving as well; this including the 5+ I’m aware of right when I started/before I started, is a grand total of 16 people in a team of about 70 that I’m aware of in a six month period. Many others were voicing their frustrations and understanding. Morale…
not paying rent anymore
Maybe it is off subject but let me explain the situation. My wife and I both work. We both live in France and it's gotten to a point, since COVID pandemic, where it's just impossible to survive even when you work. I have a full time contract and make 1400€ a month, my wife is on unemployment (because we live in a village where there is no work) and earns 900€ a month but because we couldn't survive with our earnings she started a job not declared and earns an additional 500€ a month. Our rent is 930€ a month and our food budget is around 800€ a month. And that's to make it simple, a lot of other stuff we have to pay like gasoline and insurance and school food for our daughter et cetera, et cetera, makes it impossible to save some money each month. We do not…
Question on recent events in the USA?
Forgive the potential ignorance as I’m an Australian. From my understanding of the recent court ruling in the US the rights to have an abortion havnt been overturned but rather each state can make its own laws on it. It is no longer a federal right. If this is the case, why wouldn’t people just move to a progressive state like California and wait for the other states to either collapse or form their own country. I know it’s a very basic view but from an outsiders view a line has been drawn and there are clearly 2 different types of states that should really become 2 different countries. If I’ve misinterpreted the court decision please ignore this.
